The construction of an 8 x 4 concrete pool is the guiding principle of our design 35,000 euros<\/strong>, and the realistic minimum budget for the entire pool project is 50,000 euros<\/strong>. An overflow version of the same size is about 30 % more expensive. The range is wide because the pool is calculated per project, not per square meter. All figures below are indicative ranges, not a binding offer.<\/p>\n

You don't buy a pool once \u2014 you pay for it for ten years: maintenance, electricity, engine room service and, depending on the liner, one liner replacement within that period. How much does a swimming pool cost per type?<\/h2>\n

An 8 \u00d7 4 m concrete pool in our country costs approximately \u20ac35,000, while an overflow version of the same size costs around \u20ac30 more, i.e. around \u20ac45,500. Publicly published market ranges from other sources range from \u20ac1,000 for a prefabricated metal pool to almost \u20ac60,000 for a concrete pool with ceramics. This difference is not a mess on the market \u2014 these are different products with different lifespans.<\/p>\n

Our \u20ac35,000 is in the lower half of the market range because that is the price our scope<\/strong> \u2014 reinforced concrete shells, pool techniques and cladding, not a finished yard with a terrace, lighting and fence.<\/p>\n

Key:<\/strong> \u20ac35,000 and \u20ac50,000 are not contradictory figures. The first is the price of a pool like the one we build. The second is the budget for the entire project \u2014 everything around the pool that isn't the pool. If you only plan for the first, your project will "grow" towards the end.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Why is the price per m\u00b2 misleading?<\/h2>\n

The price per square meter assumes that a pool with half the area is half the price. It is not. The engine room, excavation, connections, waterproofing and project documentation are largely fixed costs<\/strong> \u2014 they exist regardless of whether you are building 18 or 32 m\u00b2. That's why we calculate by project, not by square meter.<\/p>\n

Let's show this with arithmetic. Our 8 \u00d7 4 m pool has a floor area of 32 m\u00b2 and an approximate price of \u20ac35,000, which comes out to around \u20ac1,094\/m\u00b2<\/strong> \u2014 neatly within the market range of 900 to 1,250 \u20ac\/m\u00b2 published by eMajstor.hr<\/a>. But notice the width of that range: \u20ac900 and \u20ac1,250 differ by almost 39 %. On 32 m\u00b2, that's a difference of \u20ac11,200. The number that has 39 % spread is not the price \u2014 it's the orientation.<\/p>\n

The second trap is that the square knows nothing about depth, and equipment is dimensioned by cubic meters of water<\/strong>The volume determines which filter and pump go into the engine room:<\/p>\n
